On thursday, I went to a briefing on Capitol Hill to represent the Cheetah Conservation Fund. The briefing was a case study on community-based natural resource management conservatories in Namibia. It was really exciting to be there since I got to meet the Namibian ambassador to the US!
Anyways, there were many people from the WWF there including the woman I had met in Namibia and the VP of field programs. I was tell them about this class and our project. They will put us in touch with people on the islands and the people who run the galapagos programs. Yay!
